The Supervised Visitation Program provides supervision for parents who are trying to maintain or re-establish parent-child relationships. Many of the families we serve are involved in Child Protective Services (CPS) and the visits have been ordered by the state to facilitate parent's appropriate contact with their children who are in foster care or other care. Supervised Visitation services are offered to Child Protective Services Agencies, County Agencies or Private Pay families. |

Visitations are supervised by a Community Support Specialist. Community Support Specialists provide an unbiased, written observation, as well as ensure a safe environment for the children. This documentation is used by social workers, courts, and (in the case of private pay) by the parent's attorneys to determine the best options for the children and their families. All Community Support Specialists must pass both federal and state background checks and maintain current First Aid and CPR Training. Community Support Specialists are also trained in: Child Abuse and Neglect, Conflict Resolution, Problem Solving, Communication Skills, Substance Abuse, Child Development, Observation, Documentation, and Reporting. Supervised Visitations Services are now available in three locations including Hazel Dell, Orchards, and Meadow Glade. For more information or to begin a private pay intake, please contact Caring Connections at (360) 823-5162 or email caringconnections@innovativeservicesnw.org. Innovative Services NW |
