Mission Statement:

It is part of Innovative Services NW's mission to provide quality therapy services for all children and their families. We are dedicated to providing opportunities to maximize each child's highest potential while promoting respect and acceptance of human diversity; sensitivity to child and family needs; and inclusion in a nurturing, community-supported environment.

Innovative Services NW Pediatric Therapy is part of a non-profit organization and has been serving the special needs of children with disabilities for over 35 years. The therapy center provides an array of services including speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, educational therapy, and other specialty services. Innovative Services NW Pediatric Therapy provides Early Intervention services for children birth to age 3 who live in Clark County, WA and who qualify for early intervention services. We also offer private therapy services through an outpatient model at our clinic for children birth to age 18.

Therapies We Offer

Occupational Therapy: Enhances upper body strength, eye-hand coordination, and tolerance to touch and movement. Occupational therapists also work on feeding and self-help skills. Our occupational therapists are highly trained in sensory integration, therapeutic listening, handwriting, splinting, improving fine motor skills, and treating neurological conditions in children.

Physical Therapy: Facilitates muscle strength and range of motion necessary for motor skill development. Physical therapists address issues related to difficulties with walking and mobility. This includes techniques including stretching, strengthening, and orthotic fitting. They are also highly trained in treating neurological conditions from infancy through adolescence.

Speech Therapy: Works to improve a child's understanding of language as well as their ability to communicate with others. Speech therapists address a child's ability to make speech sounds necessary to pronounce words. They also address a child's ability to use the muscles of their mouth to speak or eat appropriately. Our speech therapists are highly trained in feeding therapy, language therapy, evaluation and treatment of dyspraxia, and developing individual communication systems.

Educational Therapy: Develops cognitive and social interaction skills. Educational therapists also work on peer interactions and play skills. Our educational therapists are highly trained in the global development of each child providing a stimulating environment for gross motor, fine motor, and communication opportunities.
