Vancouver Children's Therapy Center Preschool

The Preschool maintains a 1-5 adult to child ratio. All teachers have masters degrees with an emphasis on child development and special education.

The classes are comprised of children with disabilities and their typically developing peers. Each child is provided with rich learning opportunities with his teachers and his peers. The environment provides a stimulating opportunity for language development.

The classroom supports a regular, structured routine of free play, group time, music, snack, stories and gross motor activities.

Our Classroom

The classroom is supplied with educational toys that encourage the progression of play skills and abilities at many developmental levels. Physical, occupational and speech therapists participate in the classroom routine adding to this unique environment. Eligible children may access speech, motor and sensory processing therapy while attending the preschool.

Peer models are an integral part of the preschool class, providing models for speech, behavior and skills of typical 2 year olds. Each child gains an understanding of diversity in a rich learning environment.  We serve any child who is 2-3 years old. Classes are offered 2 hours a day,
