Innovative's Preschool encourages cognitive, speech and social skills while enhancing all areas of development through a variety of hand-on activities.

The classroom supports a regular, structured routine of free play, group time, music, snack, stories and gross motor activities. Educational toys that encourage the progression of play skills and abilities at many developmental levels are utilized in the classroom.

Our preschool serves children who are at least 2 1/2 years old. All of our preschool teachers have Master's Degrees with emphasis on early childhood education, child development or special education. The preschool maintains a 1-5 adult to child ratio.

The classes are comprised of typically developing children as well as children with special needs. Typically developing children participate in the rich learning environment provided by our highly skilled staff while modeling age-appropriate speech behavior and motor skills for the children with disabilities. By participating in an inclusive classroom, everyone gains an understanding of diversity.

Preschool classes are held at Innovative Services NW's main location, the Mary Firstenburg Family Center. Classes are scheduled 2 hours a day, 2 days a week and the preschool runs 12 months a year. We have morning and afternoon class schedules available. Please call for more information.
