Michael Allen Harrison Private Concert Saturday, February 6, 2010 Benefiting Innovative Services NW

This private concert for 50 will feature a private recording of the event available only to those in attendencance and a signature selection of hearty Hors d'oeuvres from the Restaurant at the Historic Reserve and Hudson's Bar and Grill.  Tickets to this exclusive event are currently available for $100 each and may be purchaed by calling 360-823-5170.  One hundred percent of the proceeds of each ticket support the clients and families of Innovative Services NW.

Finding Calm in the Storm
AJ with his Physical Therapist, JessicaA.J. Hunt is cute as a bug.  Watching him sit in a room and play with a toy you might never know just how far A.J. has come.  Drug affected at birth, A.J. has sensory issues that caused him to want to be in almost continuous motion.  He had an attention span of 30 seconds or less as his body sought constant sensory feedback.  He could not sit still; he could not crawl; he would not play with a toy.  His short attention span made it hard to interact with his family.  A.J. repeatedly pulled himself up and stumbled/ran two or three steps until he fell and would start again.  Read More...

Innovative Services NW Adult Day Health Center
Providing an active, enriching, educational and social environment for senior citizens and adults with disabilities who need daytime assistance
Halloween at ADHCOne of the unique qualities encountered in the Mary Firstenburg Family Center is the diversity of people, particularly the age diversity.  The first floor of the Mary Firstenburg Family Center is home to both the Innovative Services NW Childcare Center and the Innovative Services NW Adult Day Health Center (ADHC).  This proximity allows opportunities for intergenerational interaction and sharing of activities.  Read more...

Innovative Services NW is a non-profit organization that values, assists and supports children, adults and families in our community who have disabilities or other types of disadvantages. 
We do this through offering a continuum of services including therapy and childcare for children; employment training and job support for teens and adults; intervention, education and support for families; and adult day health services for seniors and other adults who need daytime assistance.
 
Having our newsletter online allows us to save more than $12,000 a year in printing and mailing costs; funds which can now go to support our clients and programs.
