SPRING RECAP NEWSLETTER

Note from Our CEO

ISNW To Reopen & Operate WSUV Children's Center

We are thrilled to announce our partnership to reopen and operate the WSU Vancouver Children’s Center. Following a comprehensive review and evaluation process, ISNW was selected to restore the space and provide high-quality education and researched-based learning for up to 60 children ages 2 1/2 - 5 years old at the University-owned facility.

We were selected out of the three organizations that submitted proposals due to our expansive service offerings, flexible part-time enrollment options, and alignment with WSU Vancouver values. Our Early Learning program incorporates each child’s family, language, and culture and does not expel children due to their behavior. This is our foundation for providing inclusive child care and will continue at WSU Vancouver.

Our team will have the ability to utilize the full space, and provide children and families access to additional services such as registered dieticians, speech therapists, support specialists to help families connect with community agencies, and onsite screenings with local dentists.

This partnership will facilitate collaboration with WSU Vancouver’s education and research mission, offering opportunities for staff, students, and potential student internships. To further support the WSU Vancouver community, the

center will reserve slots for students and

employees during the early registration period and discounted tuition rates for these families. The WSU campus will serve preschool to PhD!

We aim to have the Children’s Center open and operational before the Fall 2023 semester, which starts on August 21st, 2023. We are incredibly excited about this opportunity and look forward to expanding possibilities for everyone at WSU Vancouver. Go Cougs!
