SUMMER RECAP NEWSLETTER

A Message From Our CEO

“Through my evolution with Innovative, we have really looked at where our core competencies are, where we really strive, and where we can make the most impact along with what the community needs. We are strong in our ability to impact more and more families in our community and I see no reason we won't have another 60 years.”

- Dena Strong, President and CEO of Innovative Services NW

Team Spotlight | Employment Services

This month, we are delighted to celebrate our Employment Services team highlighting the growth and impact they have achieved over the course of the summer. Our team is here to break down employment barriers, facilitate personal growth, and enable individuals to achieve economic self-sufficiency and a greater sense of community belonging. We are grateful to witness the growth of this team, further enabling them to amplify their impact and provide more inclusive opportunities to members of our community.

"You will often hear my team emphasizing a standard of work that goes beyond mere quality. This speaks volumes about our continuous growth and the exceptional services we provide every day."

WSU Vancouver Children’s Center | Enrollment is Open!

As summer comes to a close, one of the standout milestones at Innovative has been our partnership with WSU Vancouver and the rejuvenation of the childcare center on their campus. Encompassing a holistic approach to development and meeting the needs of every child, our curriculum for children aged 2½ - 5 years old ensures a vibrant blend of creativity, cultural inclusivity, self-discovery, and a focus on overall growth.

The center offers both full and part-time care and in addition to Early Learning, will have access to community agencies through our support specialists.

Email us for more details and to learn about enrolling your child today!

Early Learning Graduation

Our 2023 class of Early Learners are off to kindergarten! While we are sad to see them go, these bright minds have taken their next big step, and we couldn't be more proud.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to all the parents, guardians, and family members of the little ones in our Early Learning program. Your trust, support, and partnership have been invaluable in shaping the experiences our students have had.

Congratulations, Early Learners!

Cornhole Recap

Thank you to everyone who was able to attend the ISNW (Almost) Annual Cornhole Tournament! The energy and enthusiasm that was brought made for an exhilarating afternoon and a mix of friendly competition and community spirit, all in support of our pediatric therapy program.

We want to share our immense gratitude to our generous donors and sponsors, as well as a special thank you to Columbia Credit Union for being the presenting sponsor of the event. Your support is the foundation that makes events like these possible, and it ensures that our programs continue to thrive and meet the needs of our community. We truly couldn't do this without you.

We hope to see you again next year!
